The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, one of WWII America’s greatest advancements for pedestrians, came about as a byproduct of the interstate construction below. New York City has since recognized its special spirit, connecting it to Brooklyn Bridge Park and maintaining it as if it were a park itself. This work’s strong perspective lines invite the viewer into the space as if they were on a walk of their own.
